Make your fingers as though to play a low C, but add the key that's under the octave key. In other words, finger a low C but add the bottom thumb key.
Bb on a flute is played (left to right) thumb first finger first finger and first pinkie key.
Put down all six fingers. Half-hole the top finger on your left hand. Put your right pinkie on the middle pinkie key.
index finger (if that's the one next to your pinkie)
L, O and P
1. Start by putting all of your fingers down except for the pinkies and your thumb on the octave key. 2. Then, you will put your right hand pinkie on the E flat key. That key is the lowest key that your right pinkie can go on. There is the C key, then the C sharp key, and THEN the E flat key, the key your pinkie will go on.
