To copy text using your keyboard, a person would use the key combination of cntl+c. This would copy a line of text or an image after it has been selected. To paste the object or text, use the combination of cntl+v.

Select text is a type of text that allows you to use both the mouse and keyboard methods to select text. As a result, you can easily copy and paste sections of text with minimal effort,
To copy and paste on a Chromebook, use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl + C to copy the selected text, and Ctrl + V to paste it elsewhere. Alternatively, you can right-click on the selected text and choose the "Copy" or "Paste" options from the context menu.
