Backspace deletes the characters to the left of the cursor while delete deletes the characters to the right. (The cursor is the vertical line that flashes on and off where you are typing text)
They are called the mouse keys. They Are: 8= Up 2= Down 4= Left 6= Right 1= Diagonal to Bottom Left 3= Diagonal to Bottom Right 7= Diagonal to Top Left 9= Diagonal to Top Right
4 cursor control keys are there .←↑→↓
The delete key removes the character above or to the right of the cursor. The backspace removes the character to the left of the cursor.
The Delete key deletes characters to the right or in front of the cursor. The backspace key deletes characters to the left or behind the cursor.
The delete key.... (the one with the arrow pointing to the left).
Assuming you meant 'characters' - use the DEL key (instead of backspace). The DEL key erases the character at the cursor, moving the text from right to left. The Backspace key erases the character immediately to the LEFT of the cursor.
The delete key deletes text to the right of the cursor and the backspace key, in the top right of your keyboard, will delete text to the left of the cursor.
No, the left arrow key moves the cursor to the left in text, but the backspace deletes the letter immediately left of the cursor. You may be able to make it so you can use those two keys interchangeably if you alter with registration settings and stuff, but by default they do different functions.
You asked for five such keys. Here are (in my estimation) the most commonly used: [Left arrow] [Right arrow] [Up arrow] [Down arrow] [Home] The following keys can also be used for cursor control: [End] [Page Up] [Page Down] [Ctrl]+[Home] [Tab] & [Shift]+[Tab] (usually function only on web forms)
Press the F2 key to start editing the cell. Then use the arrow keys to get to the point in the text where you want to get rid of a character. If the character is to the left of the cursor, use the Backspace key. If it is to the right of the cursor, use the Delete key.
the delete key on a keyboard, erases characters on the left side of the cursor
