Motorcraft MERCON automatic transmission fluid for the transfer case in a 1996 F-150 according to the owners manual
It depends on the trans. If it is an earlier 580k then it has a wet brakek and will need specific fluid. Hytran ultra or Case transaxle fluid if newer then gear oil will suffice.
You should use AGL fluid not demand drive fluid. Atv Gearcase Lube. Carried by all Polaris dealers. Demand drvie fluid is for your front hubs on older models, and in the front gearcase on newer models with the AWD in the case other than the hubs.
Automatic transmission fluid.Automatic transmission fluid.
I think. (but not sure) you can use amsoil series 2000 chain case lube.
