you can get diorrea and it will never stop and you will get a rather nasty rash on your butt
Assuming you're not talking about an allergic reaction, no, penicillin has a wide margin of safety and has not been associated with systemic toxicity. Though you cannot overdose on penicillin, you could end up with severe diarrhea from taking too many at once. Also, just because you have not had an allergic reaction before to a drug, taking too many could cause an allergic reaction.
It depends on the person
A caffeine could possibly cause a rash, but only if you have some kind of allergic reaction to caffeine.
Generally the recommended treatment for anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction) is epinepherine (also available in a ready-to-use syringe known as an Epi-pen) as the first step in treatment. If you carry and use an Epi-pen, the use should be followed up by a visit to the emergency room immediately for further treatment. If you are asking what alternate antibiotic you could use if you are allergic to penicillin, that will be determined for each person and in each illness by the health care professional prescribing the antibiotics. It depends on what kind of infection it is and to which alternate antibiotics the bacteria causing the infection are sensitive.
He might be allergic to penicillin and all derivatives of penicillin (and of the "cillins."). It's best to check with your pediatrician however. I can't take penicillin. I break out in the same red bumps. Don't worry though. Penicillin allergy is probably the most common kind. And there are plenty of other antibiotic-type medicines out there! Just remind him when he gets older that he's allergic to penicillin because he will be asked about drug allergies constantly! ~ T
Length varies based on what kind of reaction you have. The common rash reaction can last a bit over a week but itching usually stops within a couple of days with the assistance of Benadryl. Some swear that increased hydration and/or working up a sweat helps clean your system faster.
I am not sure if Cipro has penicillin in it or not, but I have been allergic to penicillin since I was little and then a few years ago found that I had the same reaction (hives) after taking Cipro...so I don't know, but that's my experience.
Penicillin is an antibiotic .
THERE COULD BE A COUPLE OF REASONS; It could be jockitch- a fungal infection. Over-the counter LOTRIMIN cures jockiitch. It could be an allergic reaction to something: could be the laundry soap you use on your underwear....OR... If you use latex condoms- you could be allergic to latex....OR... you could be allergic to the soap you use in the shower, especially if you get soap into the opening at the end of your penis. I know it is embarrassing, but you probably should see a DOCTOR. ALSO_ if you use any kind of lubricant on your penis, it may be a reaction to the lubricant. Good Luck!!
I do not think so. I have never heard of that kind of thing happening.
It could be hives, an allergic reaction, or any number of things. It's best to call a dermatologist immediately.
Allergic reaction to a food or simply fleas seeing that the entire family has it, it is likely to be that and not an allergy to foods or chemicals such as detergents. Could even be scabies, it is very contagious just by skin contact or have you started using a different kind of soap powder? Could be many things.
