Depends on the History... Anceint times the computer was invented before the telephone. These computers were primative with a complex series of gears. The Chinese were the first to create this type of engineering marvol. The Phone wasn't evented until the late 19th century during the time of Alexander Gram Bell whom I believe designed the first telaphone. But during these times there were computers that were not very efficient. Thus the phone was no made before the computer. Yes. i think telephones were invented first.
