Menominee women wore woven skirts. Menominee men wore breechcloths with leggings. Shirts were not necessary in the Menominee culture, but both genders wore mantles in cooler weather. The Menominee Indians also wore deerskin moccasins on their feet. Later, Menominee people adapted European costume such as cloth blouses and jackets, decorating them with fancy beadwork and embroidery.
