whaT KIND OF COOLANT DO I PUT IN MY 2001 PONTIAC SUNFIRE Generally, the GM model vehicles, or is this case, the sunfire, use a specific kind of coolant called DEX-cool extended life engine coolant. It is orange-ish in color and most of the time GM specific. i have a 01 sunfire, 2.2 liter myself, and on my car frame, i have a sticker that says "Use only DEX-cool engine coolant....". Hope this helps!
Dexcool
DEX-cool is a coolant made specifically for Pontiac Grand Ams. It has certain amounts of lubricant and detergents made just for this engine.
Dexcool unless you flush thoroughly and use the green stuff
what kind of sending unit is it? fuel?,oil pressure?
The A/C uses R-134A refrigerant.
A 2001 Dodge Neon uses red, hoat type antifreeze.
Red, five year, hoat type.
Kind of a square with a cap on top with little waves across the bottom and it will be yellow or red. It probably have an English label that says low coolant.
dex-cool antifreeze is what came from the factory.
If it is green then any ethylene glycol or universal coolant will work if it is red/pink/orange then use a universal coolant, the mopar HOAT coolant or Zerex G-05 coolant.
ther might be a replacable circuit board of some kind behind the tail light housing
