The type of coolant that your vehicle takes is called dex cool. Its a pink fluid that gm came out with. It was supposed to be a high performance coolant but it really just burns quicker and cakes up the engine. Word of advice convert it to a g05 coolant. That is a full synthetic coolant that will give you the protection you need and it will also kep your engine radiator water pump etc. From gumming up
