It is an unanswerable or zero-sum indeterminate question. It should be noted that Miss Keller did not invent any aids for the handicapped, unlike Louis Braille. The question cannot be answered one way or the other. The Keller family, according to a sort of article read in grade school English became aware of the Perkins School for the Blind from a dated magazine article that was originaly written in the l870"s by Charles Dickens, who had died long before Helen (l88l-l968) was born- and the article described a case similar to Helen"s.

Without Helen Keller, the world would have missed out on her inspiring story of perseverance and triumph over adversity. Her advocacy for people with disabilities and her contributions to education and understanding of deafblind individuals would not have been as prominent, potentially impacting the advancement of support and services for the disabled community. Her legacy continues to inspire generations to overcome challenges and strive for equality.
