its a kind of electric machine it works by electric power
that's because a kind that of force generates bteween the clothes after being spun so hard! that energy keeps them stuck together, as far as i know!!
Electrical energy enters the hair dryer and is converted into kinrtic energy as a smallelectric motor spins a fan blade. Electrical enrgy is also converted into thermal energy in a grid of wires that heat up. The fan forces air across the hot wires , and hot air blows out of the nozzle of the hair dryer. You can hear the sound energy that comes out. In other words in is converted from Electrical energy -to- Kinetic energy and, Electrical energy -to- Thermal energy and, last but not least, Sound energy!
Most things have thermal energy. Thermal energy is comes from heat and therefore anything that can generate heat has thermal energy. All living things have thermal energy.

In the early 1800s, prototype clothes dryers were first starting to be invented in England and France. One common kind of early clothes dryer was the ventilator, made by a Frenchman named Pochon. It was a barrel-shaped metal drum with holes in it that was turned by hand over a fire. One early American patent for a clothes dryer was granted to George T. Sampson on June 7, 1892. Sampson's dryer used the heat from a stove to dry clothes and was another type of ventilator machine.

A gas clothes dryer will never become an electric dryer. To convert from an old gas dryer to a new electric model, the only major thing is to make sure there is the right kind of electric power outlet. Nearly all dryers require a large 30A 230V plug. Your gas dryer had only a regular 15A 117V plug, just light the other regular outlets in the house. Grounding is essential (!) for an electric dryer. If the ground is not there you will eventually get a horrible shock from the washer or dryer. A few clothes dryers (usually apartment sized models) use only the standard outlet, but expect a drying time of 2 hours plus for a small load of clothes.
