Motorcycle oil
From Victor's Shop, I usually use GN4 motorcycle oil 10W40
Heres the scoop,,,,,,,,,, A motorcycle has the clutch in the crankcase, You need A oil that is for this type of application,,,, Now, You can use any oil that is for A motorcycle in your bike.
Yes it is, as long as it also has the designation JASO-AM or AM2, or SAE SF or SG. This specification means that the oil is suitable for motorcycles. There is great difference of opinion among motorcycle drivers as to which kind of mootorcycle oil is best. Don't use ordinary car engine oil in a motorcycle if you can help it and then only for a short period.
You are likely to damage the engine.
I have a 1974 cb450 and it calls for 10w40 oil 3qts. yours should be the same . Use motorcycle oil as it is designed for the higher engine temperatures. Pure synthetic bike oil is not recommended as it leaks out more easily and can cause clutch slippage.
Any size motorcycle engine, can be operated on the highway in the state of Ohio. The motorcycle must meet certain requirements such as; turn signals and taillights.
10w-40 motorcycle or ATV engine oil
Engine size has nothing to do with the definition of a motorcycle. If it has 2 wheels, powered by an engine and has no pedals it's a motorcycle.
