The best brands of riding lawn mowers are those of companies such as John Deere and Briggs and Stratton depending on the quality.
They are known best for their lawn mowers. Especially their riding lawn mowers. They are widely viewed as the best brand of lawn mowers in the world. Before lawn mowers they were known for farm tractors. The "Johnny Popper" was one of their most recognized tractors just by the sound of the engine.

I have seen pretty good prices for riding lawn mowers at Sears and Lowes. I recommend checking the consumer reports to find out the best riding lawn mowers, I bought one and it broke in a year so be careful with your pick.
The best places to buy riding lawn mowers are either the larger home improvement stores such as Home Depot and Lowes, or specialty stores such as John Deere. The advantage that a store like John Deere has over most others is that they generally only deal in riding lawn mowers or tractors. They're set up with the sales and service to help you make the right selection for your particular needs.
Although this can be an opinionative question, John Deere is thought to have the best lawn mowers and tractors by many. John Deere has high quality, durable products.
It is a matter of opinion what the best mower would be for your needs, and depending as well on the size of the lot you need to mow. John Deere has highly acclaimed products which you can view on their website here: http://www.deere.com/en_US/homeowners/riding_mowers/index.html
Craftsman and Earthwise mowers work the best on hilly land. Likewise, riding mowers are the perfect solution for hills because they'll travel such terrain without any major problems.
Um... Deere, without question. Deere is by far the best tractor you can buy.Not so fast. Cub Cadet implies Garden Tractor so compare Deere's garden tractors to IH's Cub Cadets. Deere's intermediate and large tractors are great machines, but I'll compare a 60's through 70's Cub very favorably to anything made by John Deere in the small tractor catagory. The Cubs are simple and extremely durable. IH built over 700,000 of the things so there are plenty of parts, accessories and technical help available. Besides, Cub Cadets are cooler and better looking-just like the real men who own them.Cub Cadet is now made by MTD which makes all of the stripped down mowers. Deere makes the best mowers on the market. Not even close.Cub cadet is better then deere, cause deeres break all the time and its expensive for repairs and a cub cadet is a longer lasting
Riding mowers can make an otherwise tedious job easy and even fun. However, before investing in a riding mower make sure that your lawn is large enough for it. A push mower makes sense up to a certain area. Then, sit down on the lawn mowers and stay there for a while. Do you notice any discomfort in parts of your body? If so, note it and then sit down on the next one. Are there any differences? Is it more comfortable? After a while, you should have found the best riding mower and, hopefully, the price is right too.
John Deere. History of reliable products second to none in the industry!
John Deere makes there own mowers. That's why they're pretty much the best mowers left that money can buy, every other brand is garbage for the most part. Half the brands you could name off the top of your head are made by MTD these days. Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, Bolens, Yard-Man.Jhon deer
