Any normal filter will work. Chacha on!!
About two-three inches long. Don't worry, they'll grow!
well i have 4 that i got all together, i was only gonna get 2 then i realised cant have michaelangelo etc from ninja turtles with only 2 so got 4. As long as enough space as in 2007 they were babies and were so small now they are big started off in a tank then one would attack the smaller one. So read on internet needed space so now in a pond outside
Yes, red eared sliders and yellow bellied sliders are both subspecies of "pond slider", in the wild where their range overlaps they mate quite often producing what are called "intergrades". The particular intergrade between a yellow bellied slider and a red eared slider often has features of both, large yellow markings on the head with a red corner.

If it's a huge tank, has an outstanding filter, and has two or three large basking spots each with UVB light (large means that it can fit all three turtles on it).
There's not enough space here to go into full details ! I suggest you check your local library for text books on the reptile (they are a common 'pet' so there are lots of publications). PLEASE research the species thoroughly BEFORE you get one - It's no good getting a RES then panicking because you have no clue how to care for one. Over the last 25 years I have rescued (and re-homed) around THREE HUNDRED Red Eared Sliders - simply because people didn't realise how much work is involved in caring for them !
Yes, you can feed an adult red-eared slider once a week (providing it is a large feeding). I've been feeding my red-eared slider once a week (every Sunday night) for a year or two now. However, recently I've decided to start feeding her two smaller feedings each week. She seems to be ravenously hungry at each feeding, and I suspect that by Friday or Saturday, she is uncomfortable and unhappy because she's just so hungry. So, yes, you can feed a red-eared slider once a week, but if they seem too hungry at each feeding, then you should probably switch to twice a week. Also, I wouldn't feed a juvenile turtle, and especially a hatchling, once a week. At that point they are supposed to be growing, so I think they really need to be fed at least two or three times a week.
The words three and the are both adjectives in that sentence.
Sea turtles, amphibios turtles, and tortoises

Scoop the leftover food out, so it doesn't dirty up the tank. However, you are only supposed to feed a turtle however much it can consume in a few minutes. So if there are leftovers, you are probably feeding them too much. Keep in mind that turtles never stop growing. Think about it: turtles can't get fat, because if they did, they wouldn't fit in their shells. So the shell has to grow with them. So, if you continue feeding your turtles too much, they will just keep getting bigger and bigger. And the bigger they are, the harder it is to take care of them. I have a 2 year-old red-eared slider, and I find that she is just fine being fed one larger feeding every other day, or even every two or three days.
