I'm doing a project on them now. Apparently they are sometimes omnivores, but are know to eat other animals. They sometimes eat other cushion stars! But they feed on bacteria, coral, fish and mussels. Hope that helped (:

The cushion star looks more like a spineless sea urchin than a starfish. Its arms are so short that they merge with its body and only their tips can be seen. There are no specific predators found for the cushion star.
=A sea star really does not eat anything. If there is moss or algae on the item the sea star is clinging to, it will suck those up.=
