In the 1300's many people at the foods that they could grow or make themselves. They ate vegetables as they were picked, and then dried some so they could have them in the winter months. Bread was also a popular food in the 1300's.
They ate a lot of meat! They ate very few vegetables as poor people ate vegetables and meat was expensive, so was seen as sign of wealth. Beef, Lamb, Pork, Lots of Game Birds such as Partridge, Pheasant and Grouse, and they drank Beer as the water was undrinkable.
