R-134a the amount would depend on the model and engine size also. But you can look it up on a website in the link below. If you will click on the icon "Find your cars low side port" you can follow the steps and it will tell you the amount of R-134a your system uses and the amount and type of oil that is also required.
It depends on what kind of freon you need.
About 2.5LBS look at sticker under hood it will tell you how much R-134a the systom takes.

How much freon does a 2010 Peterbilt
depemds on the car as how much freon it will hold. some cars have a tag saying how much freon the car is filled with. Too much freon is just as bad as not enough freon.
I have a '92 and it is Freon 12. There are a couple of ways to tell. 1. There is a sticker under the hood that will tell the type of freon and the amount. 2. The best way is to look at the freon input connection. Freon 12 is a 1/4" flare fitting and freon 134A is much larger. A freon 12 system can be converted to 134a with a kit that is very available. They make these kits because freon 12 is unavailable and is now illegal to sell.
