I just had my 93 done and it took r12 but there is a discrepency in the capacity, the sticker on the car said 40 oz, the NAPA guide said 48oz and my Haynes manual says 56 oz for 1988 and up. If I had it to do over again, I would have it changed over to r134a as it would be cheaper in the long run to maintain the r134a system. I currently have 48 oz in my car and the AC doesn't always work so I think I need to go to a 56 oz charge but it is so expensive to add a half a pound I haven't had it done yet. R-12, but you can change it to 134-A, very easily.

One can buy Chevy Blazer part son Houston when one goes to the site Chevy+in+Houston. This site offers used Chevy as well as Chevy Blazer parts. Or one could go online to sites like Auto Trader.
It SHOULD be on the shroud above the radiator if it hasn't been removed. OR on the underside of the hood. IF all that fails, go to Autozone.
The amount of Freon that goes into a 1995 Chevy Suburban depends on whether or not their is just front AC or front and rear AC. If the Chevy Suburban on front AC only it takes 3.0 pounds of r134a Freon. If there is front and rear AC then it takes4.25 pounds of r134a Freon.
