Kind does not matter but the weight does. It requires 5 quarts of 5W-30 with the filter change.
its attached to the pump More specifically, it's located right under the alternator (Driver's side, kind of hard to see) - At least on my '91, with the 305.....I'd keep that car off when you go for it - It's RIGHT under the serpentine belt! Kenny
The fuses in a 1991 Toyota Corolla are situated at two different spots, depending on the kind of fuse. Some are inside the car under the dash. There are other for engine components and these are located in a black box next to the wiper tubes.
Originally it would have used Dexron II. Dexron II has been replaced by DexronIII/Mercon and that's what you should use now.

Kind does not matter as long as you use the same oil all the time. The weight is the important issue, it shoild be 5W-30 SAE.
