What is the operation of Mosfet?

Depending on the type, in a simple explanation mosfets are similar to a relay, in the sense that when current is applied to one leg, the other two legs are connected together. Some mosfets also pass through the supplied current that closes the mosfet, and some do not.

What is the difference between a PAL and a PLA?

PLA is programmable logic array while PAL is Programmable Array Logic. PLA is a kind of programmable logic device used to implement combinational logic circuit. It has Programmable AND Gate linked with Programmable OR Gate. PAL is an combinational PLD that was developed to overcome certain disadvantage of PLA. PLA shows longer delay due to additional fusible links which results from using two programmable array and increase circuit complexity. Thus, PAL is used which is less complex and fast to implement. PAL consists of programmable AND linked with fixed OR.

What is the output of AND gate if sine wave is input?

I assume the sine wave input is pure AC, meaning this signal is positive, and negative, as would come from a transformer winding. To not damage the fragile input to the AND gate, you should have a limit resister, say 1K ohm to 10 K ohm. Then the output of the AND gate will be a very clean square wave. It will be in phase with the input sine wave. You can add a small capacitor from the AND gate input to tr ground. IMPROVEMENT: The best kind of gate to use for this circuit is called a "Schmitt Trigger", which will really clean up the signal. It is only available as inverting, 1, 4, or 6 per package. You can easily use an inverting NAND, and run it through 2 gates to get your phase back to what you want. So for what you are doing, use a 10K input, to a 100 pF cap to ground, going into one section of a 74HC14 (6 inverters in one package), and then go through another section, if you need to get back to 0 degree phase shift. With the 2 inverters in a row, you can have 2 phases available. Or, you can add another R-C delay between the 2 sections, and make the phase shift to whatever you need. 90 degrees, no problem. With 6 inverters, you can phase shift on and on, and make all kinds of poly phase outputs. MORE FUN: With the Schmitt gate, you only need an R and a C from the output back to the input, and you will make a very stable Square wave generator. With a single diode, you can make a "one-shot" circuit, for constant pulse width. You can even make a PWM circuit, by DC biasing the input.

Difference between butterfly valve and gate valve?

Butterfly valve refers to a kind of valve whose closing part (butterfly plate) is a disc, which rotates around the valve shaft to achieve opening and closing. It mainly plays a role of cutting off and throttling on the pipeline. The butterfly valve opening and closing part is a disc-shaped butterfly plate, which rotates around its own axis in the valve body to achieve the purpose of opening and closing or adjustment. The butterfly valve is usually 90° from fully open to fully closed. The butterfly valve is simple in structure, small in size and light in weight, and consists of only a few parts. Moreover, it can be opened and closed quickly by rotating 90°, and the operation is simple. The opening and closing part of the gate valve is a gate. The movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid. The gate valve can only be fully opened and fully closed, and cannot be adjusted or throttled. The gate has two sealing surfaces. The advantages of the gate valve: small fluid resistance, less effort to open and close, no restriction on the flow of the medium, no turbulence, no pressure reduction

Who is the porter in Macbeth?

A porter is simply the man who is in charge of the gate. He's the one that opens it and closes it, and makes sure people who aren't supposed to come in don't. The porter from Macbeth, specifically, is the comic relief after Duncan is murdered. Shakespeare knew that he had to keep people interested, and thus needed to put in something funny. The porter has been drinking all night, and when he hears Macduff and Lennox knocking, he imagines that he is porter to the gates of Hell. He then proceeds to imagine what kind of people he would let in. I hope this helps.

What is a AND gate in physics?

An AND gate is a digital logic gate. Only if both of the inputs to the gate are "1", then the ouput of the gate will be "1" . If both of the inputs to the gate are "0" or if only one input to the gate is "1", then the output of the gate will be "0".
