the Panamanians live in high-rise condominiums (for the higher class/richer people), sun settlements (for travelers/tourists), two-story frame houses (most of the population), and low rise apartments (for the lower class/poorer people).
The houses/apartments/hotels are usually made of wood but lately it has been replaced with concrete. A normal house in Panama is held up by pillars (from Greeks) and is plaster finished
