There is some controversy over this. Music is soothing or at least can be.
Birds seem to enjoy the background noise and although no scientific proof that egg production increases with the playing of music, it certainly does not hinder or harm.
One added benefit is that music will often keep larger predators out of the hen house.
Music has not been shown to actually effect the laying rate of chickens. Studies have been done by many agricultural schools to verify the benefits of music on animals in not just chicken coops but barns and stables and no empirical evidence was presented showing increased benefits. It can however benefit the farmer, making his day a little better (rap music being the one exception).

The type of chickens you should get depends on what kind of chickens you want. There are meat chickens that you kill and eat, layer chickens that lay eggs without a rooster and are good to eat, and there are show chickens which you can enter in state fairs and poultry shows.
Caviar is fish eggs.
You might be able to if there were some kind of genetically modified chickens... But I can't imagine it has been made possible.
footworking music makes your heart rate go up :)
music that makes really gross noises
Chicken eggs from the store will NOT hatch no matter what you do to them. By the time they get to the store they have been away from the warmth of the mother, or any kind of warmth, for far too long to be fertile.
a rubber band! lol!
Any kind of chicken can lay a double yolk egg the same as any woman can have identical twins
No, the eggs and the hen kind of go hand in hand. A chickens body temperature is 101-102ºF. That happens to also be the temperature that the eggs need to incubate at. Since the chicken cannot warm the eggs to a higher temperature than she is, the hen herself cannot overheat the eggs.
