I think the question is a bit mixed up, but I think this is the answer.
Scientists talk about "mass-energy" as a unified thing.
Just after the Big Bang "energy", in the form of radiation energy, was dominant. However, today it seems that
"mass" is the dominant form.
In other words, "matter" now dominates the Universe.
There is the complication of "Dark Matter" and "Dark Energy".
Cosmologists still don't really know what these are. So that puts some uncertainty into this discussion of matter and energy.
Some scientists believe that it is now "energy" that dominates, because of the discovery of Dark Energy.
(Also, cosmologists think that both "matter" and "anti-matter" were created, but that there was a slight imbalance in favour of matter and the anti-matter seems to have been destroyed, leaving just "matter".)
No the universe is all matter their is.
Plasma is the most common type of matter in the universe
In a way, matter makes the universe. The mater in the Universe determines the energy and size of the Universe.
In both matter dominated and radiation dominated closed Universes, the evolution is cycloidal; i.e. the scale factor grows at an ever-decreasing rate until it reaches a point at which the expansion is halted and reversed. The Universe then starts to compress and it finally collapses in the Big Crunch.
38.128% of the matter in the universe are neutrons.
All matter space and time is within our universe. Any matter or space outside it, immediately becomes part of it. It's a giant collective of stuff. In theory there may be antimatter universes somehow beyond our Universe, but all that is untested theory. So to sum it up, No there isn't.
I am in this universe as the other contains my anti-matter self. If I were to meet my anti-matter self, we would both annihilate immediately. Also the collective atoms that make up myself all originated in this universe. The universe contains the same number of atoms always, at least this one does. So I will be always be here in some form or fashion. Hopefully form!

most matter that exists in the universe is in the plasma state

In my Universe, about 23% of its energy is found in dark matter -- about four to five times more than in matter we happen to understand. I don't know the percentage in your Universe.
