If it is for the supercharger, you would use gm supercharger oil. http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=154&catid=106
The Eaton Supercharger is used to increase the overall torque power and driving ability. This also increases the economic benefits as the use of a supercharger leads to small cylinder tanks which is a good thing for your car.
Depends on the supercharger, procharger and B&M have their own oils(self contained units). others use pressurized oil feed from the engine.
Depending on the supercharger, it will require a special blend of synthetic oil. This synthetic oil normally is located in the supercharger itself. Most superchargers will have a hex nut located on the front of the supercharger. This area is used to drain and fill up the supercharger oil. You cannot use just any synthetic oil, you will have to use "Supercharger Oil"
no. you can use any oil in the engine. But only use GM supercharger oil for the supercharger.
Use SAE 5w30 Full Synthetic.
No. The is a special oil available from your dealer.
i found out that synthetic 5W-50 is an acceptable replacement for the super expensive Toyota supercharger oil
Yes there is AC Delco Supercharger Oil #10953513 at GMC dealer in Canada
Do not spray any cem. into the supercharger. This will strip the teflon coating on the supercharger rotors. However you do need to change the oil out in the supercharger. There is a little plug located by the pulley. It is a hex bolt and you need to undo it and then suck the oil out of it. You will then need to fill the oil back up just below the plug. Make sure you use the special supercharger oil called. "Supercharger oil" from GM. Thank you, From www.SuperchargersOnline.com
Maintenence on a supercharger is to check the oil level every 30,000 miles or 36 months. CAUTION:do not remove the oil plug when engine is warm.Removing the oil plug at warm engine temperatures can cause hot oil to overflow.this could result in oil lossand possible personal injury. Notice: the oil level should be maintained to the bottom of the plug threads.Do NOT use petroleum based oil. When adding oil use GM part #12345982 synthetic oil.Failure to do so may cause supercharger failure. Remove the wiring harness shield to access the oil plug. Doc J
