Depends on the year Jaguar you're referring to which you did not list. Therefore it is impossible to answer your question.

mine is a 92 xj6 and in the car handbook it has all the stuff jaguar reccommend. but i use castrol high mileage.jaguar reccommend castrol products.
i had a 1985 xj6 for 18 yrs. my mech. always used 20w50 in mine. never had a problem
Use SAE 10w-30 Synthetic oil such as Mobil 1.
Answer: No, I called Mobil and they said they do not make Mobil 1 oil filter for Jaguar and the next best things is to use Mobil 1 oil but buy your oil filter from the Jaguar Dealership. Now I always buy Jaguar Dealership's oil filter for my 2002 Jaguar S-Type Sport and My 2006 Jaguar S-Type R. I have over 160,000 miles on 2002 jaguar and it still runs like a new engine.
My dealer uses Valvoline Durablend 5W30 or 10W30 depending on your climate.
