10w40 any brand you prefer. Rotella T is very good.

Supercharger oil for a 1993 Ford Thunderbird can be found at auto parts stores that sell racing performance parts. Usually, a 50 wt. oil will work for this type of engine.
I have been putting 10W30 Maxlife Valvoline in my 97 Ford Thunderbird. It is partially a synthetic oil that cuts down on wear and tear on your high mileage engine.

According to the 2002 Ford Thunderbird Owner Guide : The 3.9 liter V8 engine takes : ( with engine oil filter change , 5.7 litres / 6.0 U.S. quarts of engine oil )
The fuel filter is located underneath, and towards the front of the engine. If it's an original, it will be a silver looking canister resembling an oil filter, but smaller.
if it's not the right kind, then YES. I'm pretty sure a 87 Bird takes 10W30
The transmission reservoir on the 1992 Ford Thunderbird is located in the engine compartment at the top of the motor. You can find it just behind the oil reservoir.Ê
