AmsOil European Car Formula 5W-40 seems to be a favorite for the A4 1.8 turbo.

Looking to find out what type of oil my audi 2006 turbo standard takes? I know its synthetic oil, but whats the number?
It has to be at the base of the sump, otherwise the oil would not drain from it.
An Audi A4 1997 R reg will use 5 W 30 oil. This oil can be purchased at any auto parts store such as NAPA.
Underneath the engine, toward the right.
The engine oil capacity of the 1997 Big Horn by Isuzu is 6.3 quarts. This is for the 3.1 Liter turbo diesel engine.
If Audi recommends you use Synthetic then you had better use synthetic. What will happen if you don't? Do you really want to take a chance and find out? I can tell the the very first thing that will happen is the Turbo will fail.

depends on what engine you have...the A4 used a 1.8 turbo, 2.0 turbo, 2.8, 2.8 twin turbo, 3.0. god these questions are funny.
hi the reasons u get oil in your itercooler wil be 1.your turbo seals are busy packing up, but will cause the car to smoke 2. your car is building up sump compression and is causing oil to bypass your turbo
For the 2003 1.8T Audi TT you should consider oil changes every 5,000 miles with full synthetic oil as turbo charged engines run hotter when enjoyed. Also, always change the oil filter when you change the oil.
