5w-30 was factory install. I there more than 100,000 miles on the motor you may want to use a 10w-40 oil or maybe a 20w-50. 10w-40 is a safe option. For the BEST lubrication use Amsoil 100% synthetic motor oil & oil filter. This is fact not opinion.
I know that a 1994 ranger with a manual trans. uses automatic trans. fluid
Any anti-freeze. Mix it 50% water.
91 or 93
According to my Haynes repair manual : For a 1994 Ford Explorer A4LD automatic transmission : ( MERCON automatic transmission fluid is used )
No it did not. The 4L80E transmissions were only used in the 3/4 tons. The 1/2 tons had the 4L60E trans. in them.

The automatic uses Mopar ATF+4 unless it is a 4500 or 5500 chassis cab, then it uses special fluid from Dodge for the AS68 trans. The manuals used 5w30 until 1993, the 5 and 6 speeds from 1994 to 2005 used a special manual trans fluid from Dodge. The 6 speed after 2005 uses Mopar ATF+4.
10 w 30
Water
you use the 2009 oil which is premium ok ugly
the radiator is the same for automatic trans. and manuel trans. you dont use the inflow pipes ( transmission cooler ) for manuel trans. but two hoses r used if vehicle has auto. trans. to cool trans. fluid. it is ok to leave pipes open for manuel trans. as its not used
10w30 any major brand. Use an AC/Delco filter. You can also use a Purolator, Wix, or Bosch filter.
