Pennsylvania. That state is a middle colony, known for its moderate climate and William Penn, the man the state is named for. Penn was a Quaker and created Pennsylvania as a place where religious refugees could live fearing persecution in Europe. His colony was also known for being kind to neighboring Native Americans. Fun Fact: Some people even trusted Native Americans to babysit their kids! ;)
