Cocos plate and the African plate
The Earth's plates are called tectonic plates.
Plates crumple up to form mountain ranges due to the intense forces of tectonic activity, such as collision or subduction. When plates collide, the immense pressure forces the edges of the plates to crumple and uplift, creating mountain ranges like the Himalayas.
The Himalayas contain the tallest mountain in the world: Mount Everest. Also, it divides up Asia and it's sub continent (India). The Himalayas were formed when two tectonic plates collided into each other.
the earth's surface is made up of tectonic plates, due to convection currents these plates are moving all the time because of this you have huge tectonic plates pushing against each other. the cause of earth quakes is tectonic plates rubbing against each other, eventually these plates push up wards founing huge mountain vistas such as the himilayas. these plates keep moving and this is whay mount Everest grows 4 inches or so every year (might be 4 millimeters)
I beleive that the Eurasian, as well as the Indo-Australian Plates make up Southeast Asia
the himalayas are made up of many mountains
The four plates that make up the Mid Atlantic ridge are the North and South American Plates, the Eurasian plate, and the African Plate.
It is make up of Granite.

volcanoes can be found at plate boundries and eurptions can be formed.
The bony plates that make up a starfish's skeleton is the ossicles. They are found in not only starfish but sea cucumbers and sea urchins also.
