In the UK, you need five GCSEs, grade C or above, including English language and two passes in either a physical or biological science. You then need to enroll in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Veterinary Nursing Scheme for which you need to be 17 years old and employed at a veterinary clinic which is registered as a Training Practice. Alternatively you can take a Pre-Veterinary Nursing course, which will allow you to enroll without GCSEs. For this you must be at least 16 and working in a practice. Communication and team working skills are vital, as is being able to follow instructions with 100 per cent accuracy.

Ok, there are such things as a vet nurse people. Do some research people. Ok i dont nessesarily know, but 4 years in college and another 4 in vet school is if you want to be a vet, but i am not quite sure about a vet nurse. You will need to keep your grades up, and you will be willing to give up time to study! You will need to keep stuying in case more cures or stuff come up. If you dont know then your in trouble. Being a vet takes alot of effort but make a back up plan! Not everyone who wants to be a vet will become one. Plus, most people who have a love for cats may leave to be a horse care taker. You will change, so make sure you know what your doing!

It depends on what type of nurse, district nurse, nursery nurse. But i would recommend psychology, biology and maybe chemistry. I am going either, Eccles college, manchester, pendleton or trafford college.
