Outlook Settings for SbcGlobal Account. SMTP: smtp att.yahoo.com, Security SSL, Port 465. Make sure that you also have on the Outgoing server tab, that "My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication." is checked, and that "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server is tic'd.
In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP, or HTTP) server box, type pop3.live.com. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server box, type smtp.live.co
Here in NW Montana, the incoming server is pop.centurylink.net and the outgoing is smtp.centurylink.net. GEEK SQUAD!! Here in Arkansas, the incoming server is the same but the outgiong is smtpauth.centurytel.net. This is on an iPhone4. God Bless.
The Incoming Server is pop3.live.com The Outgoing Server is smtp.live.com If you want to find out your school/works Pop address and your using a mac: Simply log in and ask keychain to remember your details. Then go into keychain and vola, the Incoming and Outgoing servers are there. This also works on other types of addresses other than POP

smtp.myISP.net is for outgoing mail pop.myISP.net is for incoming mail
Make sure your complete email address in the incoming and outgoing server settings.
For Hotmail / Windows Live mail, you do not have to specify this on iPhones. Just select "Hotmail" as the type of e-mail provider, and the iPhone will automatically enter these for you. Just enter your account credentials, and you are done!
