snow
Wet snow packs better than dry snow because it contains a higher amount of water. The presence of water particles helps the snowflakes to stick together and form a denser structure, making it easier for the snow to be compacted into a solid mass. Additionally, wet snow is heavier, which contributes to its better packing ability.
Yes, it does snow in Fort Riley.
A snow fort is easy to destroy if the snow isn't packed down good enough. But its harder to destroy if the snow fort is packed down and supported.

snowman, igloo, fort, snow ball
Snow forts can give one the opportunity to enjoy the fresh outdoor air and explore their creative side in the design process of the fort. As long as one wears warm clothes, a snow fort can provide hours of fun.
