I don't know what kind of spider, but it had red legs, gray body and very aggressive. I trapped it and noticed its huge fangs. I live in Freehold, NJ. Found it on the floor of my bathroom after I had replaced the tile a week earlier. There was no molding yet, so I think that's where he crawled in. This happened 9/25/2009. Nasty little sucker...1/4 inch in length.

Well a black widow is black with a red shape on it's back but no gray. I dont know if that was the answer you were looking for.

A spider that is gray with a red brhind is a black widow.Black widows have a lot of venim.It can cause trouble with breathing and maybe even death!

i saw one of these it had a Grey body with some patterns on them and there were red legs on the inside it was weird

The Phidippus Jumping Spider is common within North America. It is gray with an orange back, and is very furry.
