I have a Honda crf 100 dirt bike and I Want to put a baja designs enduro headlight taillight kit on it what kind of stator would I need thanks.
You can put a Baja Designs headlight kit on it but it will require a stator to power the light first.
Yes you need to get new stator to generate the voltage, and a voltage regulator to limit the voltage. Add a switch and headlight. Beatrice cycle sells a stator that's a direct bolt in to replace the stator on the bike (stock stator only generates the spark energy). It will be A/C but will work fine, but only when engine is running. If you want to have a battery added to it you will need to get a voltage regulator/rectifer to make D/C.
You can but you will need to upgrade the stator also. The stock stator isn't capable of generating much more wattage than the ignition needs already. You can sometimes send your stator out to places like rickystator and they can upgrade your original.
An electric motor has a stator and a rotor. The stator does not move. The rotor rotates inside the stator.
Looking for coil ohms and stator ohms. And possibly the voltage comming out of the stator .
On a 1.25 A charging Stator it only has 2 poles. Now on a 3A charging Stator it has 4 poles for the charging. And both have 6 poles for Lighting Stator. So always remember that.
How ti wind the stator of an ac machine
The stator on an Evinrude outboard is located under the engine flywheel.
A stator can be found in electric motors, generators and alternators.
It is actually the stator or flywheel, the coils in the stator is the magneto which is under the flywheel
AC motor has two main winding components - stator and a rotor. Stator winding is stationary where as rotor winding is on rotating part.
A stator is the stationary part of an electric motor. The stator contains the windings in which the electrical source is connected to. The rotar is the core and shaft that rotates when electricity is applied to the stator
