Well anteaters actually do have teeth but they are very small. It has been scientifically proven they do because scientist have found them on many female anteaters in the past but they are fading and are barely found any more. This is because there bodies are adapting more than before.
Wear patterns on ancient antelope teeth have allowed researchers to reconstruct Europe's environment 8 million years ago.
In Western and Central Europe, ruminants switched from browsing bushes and trees to grazing grasses.
In Eastern Europe, the opposite happened, as grazers started to browse.
Antelopes have very flat, big molar teeth. Why do they have those kind of teeth?
Well, antelopes are herbivores, which means they eat plants. They have these kind of teeth because they need to crunch up the plants and smash the plant so they can eat it. Unlike carnivores, who eat meat, they need sharp teeth to rip through the meat. But herbivores just need flat teeth to chew the plants thoroughly.
I hope this helped :]
