Global competitiveness indicator highlighted that in order to change an economy from factor-driven to innovation-driven, a country needed to perk up numerous aspects, together with its institutions, health and primary education, higher education and training, labor marketplace competence, scientific readiness and innovation competence. Most, if not each and every one of these factors are, to some degree, dangerously missing in Indonesia.
