Sometimes we want most, the things we can't have. Do not waste energy on such things. Turn your attentions to other important matters like schoolwork, or your job, your family or things you enjoy doing or your friends. The desire for something you can't have will pass.

You should probably be a little rougher and enjoy doing boyish things if you are a tomboy. Girly-girls usually enjoy doing girl stuff. Or you could be a little of both, like me. I enjoy girl things sometimes and boy activities sometimes.

The best thing to do is write a list of things that you are good at, things you are not so good at, things you enjoy doing and things that you absolutely hate doing. The best things that are right for someone is something they enjoy doing. You have to be at work for 40+ hours a week, so you might as well be happy. If you are still lost, there are career aptitude tests that you can take. From what I have found is that the things I enjoy doing, those were the choices highest on my list. =)

You are looking at this in a negative way. Instead think about how lucky you are to be able to enjoy things in the world. I found that if I got creative I could enjoy living alone. We don't need another person to enjoy life. It is nice, but not needed. You will meet someone if you aren't looking, but doing things you like. It can happen just learn to center yourself and grow doing things you like.
