The torture methods that they used on the twins in war concentration camps was very brutal. They used to sew (stitch) the twins together to see if they could survive as Siamese twins.

Maybe I'm not getting this question right but i think you're referring to the studies made on twins in the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp by Joseph Mengele. He took special interest in twins and performed various experiments on them, one example of these experiments was sewing twin couples hands togheter to create cojoined twins. If you look up Joseph Mengele I'm sure you will find more extensive information about these experiments.
