I always heard that Santa brought what children wanted, no matter where they lived.
There are different kinds of crops and livestock that lived in Santa Barbara. The most common ones were grapes, cattle and horses among others.
I was VERY young but I recall going to a restaurant with a name like that. The entrance was a very narrow steep decline, with ivy or some kind of greenery growing on the wall. There may have been some kind of escalator access that was unique to this location. I had the sense that it was very pricey and one of the best places in Santa Cruz at the time. Definitely fine dining.
