Good habits are habits that aren't harmful to you. Good habits include brushing your teeth and being kind to other people.
Depends on what kind of eraser you are talking about, and what kind of teeth. They do sell stain erasers for dentures that should work. If you are just talking about the eraser on the end of a pencil, then no.
If you believe the multitudes of TV commercials for oral hygiene products, this is a pretty obvious answer. You get cavities , your teeth yellow , your teeth rot and will become dull grey and then black. This may be the case on a diet of processed food but given a sugar-free, healthy diet containing several portions of raw fruit and vegetables daily, no teeth brushing is required. This information is provided from personal experience. After 11 years of never brushing my teeth I went to a dentist to have a few metal amalgam fillings replaced with composite resin (fillings that had been placed in drilled teeth from childhood, I've had no new cavities in adulthood). I brushed my teeth out of respect for the dentist, so he would have completely plaque-free and clean teeth to work on. He remarked on the excellent condition my teeth and gums and advised me to keep doing what I was doing to maintain good dental hygiene.
DON'T BRUSH YOUR TEETH THE FIRST DAY!!! I know it will be kind of gross, but you can't brush your teeth the first day because you may loosen the stitches. And if the stitches come out, then you will have a disgusting, bloody mess and would have to go back to the dentist to get the stitches re-sewn. That would not be fun! :(24 hours after surgery you can start brushing your teeth. Brush VERY GENTLY and go VERY SLOWLY when brushing near the wounds.*I would recommend using toothpaste with baking soda as soon as you can start brushing because in a few days after surgery, you will start getting a disgusting taste in your mouth which is basically your wound oozing out bacteria. (I know it sounds gross... it is. But it's true!) The baking soda will help give you a sweeter, fresher taste in your mouth, and will hopefully stop the oozing within 1 or 2 days instead of a week!Hope this information helped! Good luck with your surgery. :D
Apparently dipping your toothbrush in water and then bicarbonate of soda and then brushing over your teeth with that works. Don't take my word for it as I've never tried it but I read it in a book and I suppose it's worth a shot!Probably tastes horrible though!Good luck and if any one has any ideas they know works I would sure like to know!!! : pfizzypops x x xHey!I've discovered that celery makes my teeth whiter.I don't know how it works but you should give it a go.Probably the best thing to do is eat celery, then brush your teeth, and then use Listerine or some kind of mouthwash.x

Brushing twice a day is essential, as it can remove plaque and possibly prevents cavities. The bristle action of a toothbrush won't whiten teeth, though, and even whitening toothpastes can only have a limited effect on the surface of teeth. I have used teeth whitening strips in the past but they made my jaw and face feel funny I am still not sure what that was about I'm kind of scared to use them anymore.
