Wax should NEVER be used on a porcelain tile. Porcelain is non porous and has no need for waxing. It will only become a mess to clean later.
Porcelain is GLASS you can use whatever suits your needs..you are not going to hurt the tile... anything from Axax to Mr Clean & Pinesol can work
Nothing wrong with windex, it will work ok & not harm Porcelain but may not get everything off it.
If what you mean by carpet sweeper, is a regular vacuum, then they can only be used on tile floors if they have a selection that is special for bare floors.

A tile saw can cut a variety of tile materials, including: Ceramic tile, Porcelain tile, Marble tile, Granite tile, Stone tile, Glass tile, Mosaic tile, etc. The ability of a tile saw to cut a particular type of tile material depends on the blade used. Some blades are specifically designed for cutting certain materials, such as porcelain or stone, while others are more versatile and can be used on a variety of tile materials. It's important to check the manufacturer's recommendations for the specific tile saw and blade being used to ensure the proper cuts can be made.
The difference between porcelain tile and ceramic tile Porcelain tiles have a water absorption of 0.5% or less. To test this issue, the burnt tile is first weighed in the oven, then boiled for five hours and left in water for up to 24 hours. Then it is weighed again. If the weight of the tile increases by less than half a percent as a result of absorbing water to its surface, it is considered porcelain. To achieve such density, a special glycoline compound is used, which is better and purer than ceramic. This material often contains significant amounts of quartz and feldspar. Porcelain tiles are heated at a temperature between 2200 and 2500 degrees Fahrenheit. Both ceramic and porcelain usually have a glossy surface that makes them difficult to distinguish from each other. But some leave ceramic tiles unpolished, while porcelain is always polished. As it seems, the main difference is that porcelain tile is more resistant to water than ceramic tile and is less prone to swelling with water.
You identify minerals through a streak test. This involves taking the tile and the mineral to be identified and rubbing them together. This produces a colored streak on the tile, which can be used to identify the mineral. Consult a field guide for specific colors.
Tiles is plural of "tile" which is a piece of baked clay used in covering roofs, walls, floors, game boards. I do not think that there is a synonym for "tile".
