In order to obtain your Physicain Assistant Degree, you will have to meet the requirements to get accepted in to an acrredited training program, which usually requires some college education or previous experience working in the health care field. Courses lengths vary and are usually taken at schools of Allied health, but generally take two years. Some of the coursre you will be required to take are biochemistry, clinical pharmacology and medicine, physiology, human anatomy, pathology, and medical ethics. You will also have to supervised clinical training by a licensed physician in many areas family medicine, gynecology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and pediatrics.
The best courses to take when pursuing a physician assistant degree and science (Biology, anatomy, physiology, psychology) and math. Any pre-nursing classes will be great too.
