Off the top of my head, here are some topics: If the loss is congenital or prebycusis, percentage of U.S. population effected, do other parts of the world have similar percentages of the population effected or could this possibly be traced back to "modern" living and being bombarded by unnatural sounds (loud music, earphones, etc.). Types of hearing loss (conductive, sensorineural, mixed). Treatment, if any, for types of hearing loss. Social behavior... how do children deaf from birth attempt to assimilate to their hearing peers. How does this effect their social skills, education, ability to live independent lives as adults. You could even expand further about anti-social behavior. Do the deaf isolate themselves and tend to only interact with other deaf people. There are specific churches for the deaf (not meaning their own religion, but mainstream churches with deaf congregations). How easy is it for the deaf to find gainful employment. A day in the life of a deaf person meaning all the things those who can hear take for granted like the phone, an alarm, traffic, music, error tones on a computer, communication with someone in another room, etc. Sign language can vary by country. How difficult is it to learn? Do they have their own slang? Do different cultures treat their deaf differently? Why do and why are some deaf people capable of sound and speech, but others are not?
Does this help at all or am I way off track?
According to the level of investigation, there are three kinds of research. Those three kinds are: "exploratory research", "descriptive research" and "experimental research".
Digital hearing aids are fantastic for all types of hearing losses. My grandfather has one and he absolutely loves it!
Sure, particularly if you are considering sex. These are the kinds of things that need to be discussed before starting a new relationship.

You will need to come up with one that speaks to the group. Do your research to find out what kinds of things they like and would respond to.
