In deserts Abrasion and Deflation produce a number of distinctive landforms which include ventifcats, yadangs and zeugen.
You can search for these 3 types of landforms which are created due to wind erosion.
I will use deserts as an example as this is where wind erosion happens most as the action of the wind is greatly increased by the aeolian movement of sand.
In a desert, an outcrop of sandstone is not uncommon. This outcrop is of a slightly more resistant rock compared to what was once surrounding it, so it has resisted wind erosion more successfully. The desert winds pick up sand, and blow it at high speeds at the rock. This causes the landform to shrink in size as fragments are removed. This is the general effect of wind on a landform.
One way that wind erode some land forms is through sand blasting. It transports small particles, such as silt and clay, over great distances, and over time, it can be a tremendous erosional force.
These landforms are large areas of soft, loosely consolidated rock and bedrock surfaces that have been grooved, fluted, and pitted by wind erosion. The rock is eroded into alternating ridges and furrows essentially parallel to the dominant wind direction.

Lag deposits, ventifacts, yardangs and pans.
Wind erosion causes very slow gradual changes. These changes could be a sand dune, yardang, pans, lag deposits or deflation hollows.

You can learn about anything you want to learn about. Just look in your textbook or do a search for landforms on the internet and you'll be surprised at how much information you can learn!
erosion works the same no matter the area and so do meteors.

Possibly! But it is a very slim chance. Erosion would have to go through the inside of a cube-shaped rock from all but one side, and leave four pillars holding up the top side. Very unlikely indeed.
erosion results in a flattening of land form.

A mountain is a large landform that rises prominently above its surroundings, typically with a pointed or rounded peak. Mountains can vary in size, shape, and appearance depending on factors such as location, climate, and geological composition.

A cap of resistent rock protects the material beneath it as other landforms are worn away by erosion. When you look at a mesa, you're looking at what used to be ground level in the area.
The continents are shaped the way they are because of erosion.
