Isn't it the most natural way of doing it? If you are talking with people and you refer to yourself using the 2nd or third person, you will come across as slightly (or considerably) daft. There may be situations in written language when you could appropriately used the 3rd person.
Memoirs are written in 1st person point of view, that was a very good question you asked there.
according to http://www.answers.com/dago, it is an alteration of Spanish name Diego. As a slur, it was originally directed at those of Spanish descent. When and why it was redirected to Italians is anyone's guess.According to a 2 hour documentary on the Italians in America, many of the 1st immigrants could barely speak the English language. Therefore, many became cheap laborers. Day-Laborers they were refered to. Then, those Day-o's became Dagos! I struggled for years to find that out! Money is mentioned in 1st Timothy chapter 6, verse 10.
Nobody was talking in 1st Timothy 7:10. This book only contains six chapters. However, the Apostle Paul wrote both books of (to) Timothy.
The evangelist Timothy did not write 1st Timothy. Paul wrote 1st Timothy and he had to have been at least 40 when he did so. Given that Paul was crucified at about 62, it is a reasonable assumption that he was in his mid 40's when he wrote to his protegee.
