A more reasonable opinion is that there are 4 languages: Eastern-central Sumbanese linkage (includes Eastern Sumbanese, Mamboru, Anakalang, Wanukaka, Pondok and Baliledo), Lamboya, Weyewa (includes Weyewa proper, Loura, Tana Righu, Ve Luri, Wai Bangga and Loliina) and Kodi (includes Kodi proper and Gaura).
I think that it is possible that we can speak of ten languages: Eastern Sumbanese, Mamboru, Anakalang, Wanukaka, Pondok, Baliledo, Laboya, Weyewa, Kodi and Gaura.
According to Robert Blust the traditional Bima-Sumba group of languages is not valid. Only a relation with Sawu and Dhao can be proved.
