Oil deposits were formed when water washed a lot! of organic ( living at the time ) material into one spot all at once! And this material was covered by a lot of weight, say water, earth e.t.c. These deposits were most likely at the lowest new place nearest to the organic material that was at the time living, this would have had to happen at once

hi and this is the proccess of how oil is formed.

well it starts of in the wter in the dinosor times. when little plant cells and cretures died wonce this happened sand kept on complessing with exreame heat. the energy of the plants and creatures could not escape so it was left and after millions and millions of years it soon turned to oil. nowadays people are stuggiling to get oil as it takes a long time to form. And this is why it is very important setting up solar powered systems as one day all the oil will run out. they use this oil to generate power stations to power up the world. they don't only use oil thay also use coal and gas known as fossil fuels which will also run out as they are formed in a long period of time. other energy sources such as heat solar water e.c.t do not finish as you get them in daily life.

and that is the procces in which oil is formed

i hoped it helped

How mouy freeze thaw weathering lead to the formation of a scree slope?

Freeze-thaw weathering occurs when water seeps into cracks in rocks, freezes, expands, and breaks the rock apart. Over time, this process weakens the rock, causing it to fragment and break into smaller pieces. The repeated cycles of freezing and thawing can lead to the formation of scree slopes as the broken rock fragments accumulate at the base of steep slopes.
