arrogance
When the White Star line commission the Titanic they were led to believe it was unsinkable. Therefore the designers decided that life boats were not needed for the full compliment of passengers
That is probably because RMS Titanic was said to be unsinkable. It was supposed to be impossible for it to sink, but it did. It was also a big disaster because very many people lost their life in the accident.
The decision to include fewer lifeboats on the Titanic was influenced by J. Bruce Ismay, the managing director of the White Star Line, and the ship's designers, particularly Thomas Andrews. They prioritized aesthetics and the ship's luxury design over safety regulations, believing that the Titanic was "unsinkable." This led to a lifeboat capacity that was insufficient for the number of passengers and crew on board.
It wasn't bad luck. It was a poor lookout that led to the Titanic destruction.
hitting an ice berg
Obviously, Titanic was not unsinkable - but many features led people to believe that. A crewman even said "God himself cannot sink this ship" to Sylvia Caldwell at Southampton.
After discovering Titanic in 1985, The US/French team led by Dr. Robert Ballard returned to the wreck of Titanic to explore the interior.
What made the survivors so unique was that they were the only people who saw what happend and now nearly all of them are dead which really stinks for us because we could use some of that information to do really cool things and to find really cool things. And there were so little survivors from the shipwreck its so horrible to think that almost all of them are dead now.So that's what makes them reall really unique and really really cool!

Instead of specifically looking for the ship, as previous expeditions had done, Dr. Robert Ballard searched a larger area for the debris field, which in turn led him to Titanic.
