Since patch 3.2 all rogues can use one-handed axes from their creation on.
Rogues start out dual wielding. This is a recent change in 3.3. Before you could only learn it after a certain level. Now, rogues start dual wielding daggers.
Both one handed and two handed axes were used, but most vikings preferred a sword, knife or spear.
Yes, Death Knights are able to dual wield in beta, and will also be able to in live WotLK. They can use 2 handed axes, 2 handed swords, 1 handed axes, 1 handed swords, and dual wield the one handed weapons. They CANNOT use shields.
I take it you are reffering to you two-handed weapon skill. Firstly there are various two-handed weapon skills (two-handed swords, two-handed axes and two-handed maces, staves are also two handed). To increase your weapon skill in one of these you simply have to equip a weapon from that category and use it on monsters around your level at the begining it will be hard as most of your attacks will miss but you should get your skill up very quick.
Each skill point earned increases damage by a tiny amount. For example, one skill point in One-Handed increases one-handed damage by 0.5% As well as that, you can select the first perk for a type of weapon, such as the first perk for one-handed weapons. It will increase damage for swords, axes, and maces by 20%. The next level of the perk will incease it by 40%, and so on
For level 8, I would say either Commando( 2-handed weapons ) or Gunslinger ( 1-Handed Weapons ), these Increase V.A.T'S for the specific one of choice.
the x axes is the bold line that goes horizontally the one that goes vertically is the y axes!
